The people in each community may use what the
environment has to offer to make their living.
For example

In very warm places

• People can grow citrus crops like oranges,
  lemons, or grapefruit.

In places that are flat

• People can have large farms.

or raise animals- like cows!

In places near oceans, rivers, or streams

• People can fish for a living.

In places where trees grow well

• People can use the wood for products like lumber
  or furniture or the sap for syrup. Yum!
