coates Rally Queensland is Round 3 of the
2006 NEC Computers Australian Rally Championship
and is also a Round of the Queensland Rally
ChampionshipFor the past 10 years the Brisbane
Sporting Car Club has conducted the Queensland
round of the Australian Rally Championship in and
around Caloundra with great success. This year it
enters a new and exciting phase being hosted at
Mooloolaba with headquarters being at Novotel
Twin Waters. The forest stages in and around
Imbil remain with corporate hospitality
experiences at both the service park and the
forest spectator points. Competitors An
estimated 60 cars will enter the rally including
the manufactory-supported teams from Toyota,
Mitsubishi and Ford as well as Australia and
Queenslands leading privateers. At the back of
the field will be Classic Cars. StagesThe
event consists of 17 stages over two heats with

Friday 16th June 5.30pm 9.30pm Mooloolaba
Esplanade The Mooloolaba Esplanade comes alive
for the ceremonial start of the rally. See all
the cars, meet the drivers and teams and enjoy
the ambience of the café strip. 5.30pm Guests
arrive at Brisbane Sporting Car Club Sponsor
Marquee Rallycorp and the Brisbane Sporting Car
Club will invite a number of series sponsor
representatives to be their guests for a
pre-event cocktail party.

Saturday 17th June Imbil State Forest Enjoy
Trackside viewing from a VIP Marquee located in
the Imbil State Forest as the cars compete on a
forest Special Stage 9.00am Morning Tea at Imbil
Hall Observe last minute preparations in the
Service Park, and the running of a stage in the
town of Imbil 12.00pm Arrive at the VIP Marquee
in the Imbil Forest for a spit roast lunch and
dessert with beer, wine, soft drinks. Guests
depart when the last car has finished the
stage. This package can be tailored to include a
bus at extra cost 180 per person

Sunday 18th June An afternoon cocktail party can
be tailored to your needs overlooking the
location of the podium ceremony on the Mooloolaba
Explanade. Please contact us if this option
interests you. Presentation Dinner 7.00pm
Novotel Twin Waters Enjoy a two course dinner
with the teams, drivers, sponsors and officials
to celebrate the end of another successful
event. This is a great evening and gives guests
the opportunity to fraternise with all involved
in he event. 60 per person plus drinks
