Unit Summary
  • What is the difference between needs and wants?
    Is there a clear explanation? After reading a
    brief definition, you will get a chance to define
    what your needs and wants are. Our class results
    will be tallied so we can analyze and discuss the
    results.
  • As an informed consumer, you will need to do some
  • investigative research on one particular item,
    comparing and contracting different brands or
    models. Once your comparison shopping worksheet
    is complete, you then can share with the class
    which one you believe fits your needs and budget.

Creating own advertisement
  • In small collaborative groups (no more than 3)
    choose own product to sell .
  • Create storyboard for presentation/advertisement.
    Each presentation will demonstrate at least 4
    different marketing strategies.
  • Create a PowerPoint or Podcast to be shown to
    class. Class will analyze each advertisement and
    identify the strategies used.
