Your Task

• You have a dilemma.
• You desperately need a car. But you have certain
  requirements for your car.
• Your budget will only allow 450 a month for car
  expenses.
• You travel 20 km per day to school, so you need a
  car that is dependable and will get very good gas
  mileage.

Important to Know!

• You have 2000 from your summer job to put down,
  and you will get a loan to finance your car for 5
  years.
• The 450 per month includes gasoline.
• The interest rate is 6.
• You do not attempt extreme sports, so SUVs
  should not be considered.
• You dont like minivans!

• You have two weeks to research Web sites to find
  a car that fits the requirements and one that
  your group agrees on.
• Investigate cars using manufacturers web sites.
• Gas mileage is available for many cars sold in
  Canada and the U.S.
• Check bank sites and car dealers as well.
• Newspapers and magazines have ads and information
  about cars and new cars coming out.
• Check the current gas prices.
