MOTIV
  • David Hines set up Victim Care with a Level 1
Award in May 2004, and was awarded Level 2
funding the following year. His daughter was
murdered in 1990, and he has since committed all
his time to campaigning for changes in the law
and better services for victims. This has
resulted in legislative and procedural changes in
the way that the criminal justice system deals
with the families of murder victims. Victim Care
is now a CIC aiming to provide facilitation,
    training and multi-agency partnering
opportunities to organisations or individuals to
better understand victims suffering trauma as a
    result of a serious crime.
