- What is an Enrollment Verification?
- An Enrollment Verification is an official
document provided by the Office of the Registrar
which includes the following information about a
student - Name
- Degree program
- GPC ID number
- Start and end dates for each semester
- Enrollment status for each semester
- Academic Standing
- Anticipated date of graduation semester

- What is the purpose of an Enrollment
Verification? -
- Georgia Perimeter College Office of the
Registrar routinely certifies students'
enrollment to a variety of outside agencies.
Students often need official verification of
their enrollment status sent to various agencies
and organizations, to include - Insurance companies for students applying for
family, life, and auto policy discounts - Automobile dealers for graduates seeking auto
loan discounts - Employers for students seeking jobs
- Credit card companies for students applying for
credit - Financial aid lenders and loan guarantors
5Enrollment Verification Request Form
Students will fill out the Request for Enrollment
Verification and turn it in at the front counter.

and determined by the student.

The Reason for Verification will be an indicator
of which procedure to follow. Different types of
verifications will be discussed during this
training.

A student enrolled for 12 or more credit hours is
considered full-time
Student will note what information they want
verified.
A student enrolled between 6 and 11 credit hours
is considered half-time
A student enrolled for 5 or less credit hours is
considered less than half-time

or have it mailed to an address.

12Using Student Information System
- There will be certain screens in the Student
Information System that are used to verify
student enrollment. - Lets take a look at different screens and
create a verification letter.
13To verify current enrollment, type SFAREGQ in the
Direct Access portal.
14Then hit Enter on your keyboard
15Click Next Block
This screen will verify enrollment for the
current term. So enter current term code and
student ID
16In this instance, the student withdrew from a
course which takes her enrollment from 10 credit
hours to 9 credit hours.
Please note that this student is registered (RE
or RW).
This is the number of credit hours the student is
registered for.
17To see Academic Standing and GPA, type SHATERM in
Direct Access and Hit Enter
18Click Next Block
In addition to the student ID and Start Term, you
must also enter the course level. The level is
almost always US (Undergraduate Semester).
19If they are on Academic Warning, Academic
Probation, or Exclusion we will not include it in
the letter.
If they request Academic Standing on the letter,
we will include it if they are in Good Standing.
The students current GPA is located here.
20Type SOAHOLD and hit Enter
If a student has a hold on their record, you will
not be able to process the verification request.
21Click Next Block
22This student currently has no holds that will
prevent a release of records.
23For previous semesters, type SHACRSE and hit Enter
24Click Next Block
Enter Term that you wish to verify
During this semester, the student was enrolled in
6 credit hours, because withdrawing from courses
will not count as enrolled.
As you can see, this student was enrolled for 13
credit hours for this semester.
25To see grades reported by instructor before they
roll to history, type SFASTCA and hit Enter
Students may want an Early Grade Letter for
advisement purposes.
26After appropriate information is entered, click
Next Block
