Teacher Education ProgramAdmission Requirements

• Junior standing
• Minimum of 60 earned hours must be posted to your
  degree audit and in the student information
  system
• A 2.75 overall GPA and a 2.75 UNT GPA
• As posted on your degree audit

• Appropriate THEA scores posted to the student
  information system
• Minimum scores 240 reading, 230 math, 220
  writing
• Only allowable exemptions SAT, ACT, TAKS/TAAS

Submitting the Application for Admission to
Teacher Education

• You must submit an official degree plan that
  includes teacher certification courses at time of
  application.
• Contact the College of Education Student Advising
  Office to schedule an appointment at 565-2736
• Applications submitted without an appointment are
  processed within 10 business days and
  notification will be sent to your eaglemail
