  • Racial-ethnic (African Americans, Asian
    American-Pacific Islanders, Hispanic/Latinos),
    Native Americans (tribal and Urban),
  • Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender
  • New population priorities being developed in new
    5-year strategic plan
  • Quitline services (counseling and free nicotine
    replacement therapies) paid by Medicaid and in
    Spanish
  • Quitline promotion by local contractors and
    partners
  • Supporting systems change in health care clinics
