UNDECLARED FIREARMS

• Duty passengers traveling with undeclared
  firearms into or through the UK
• Firearms should transfer directly from arriving
  airline to interlining airline
• Following occurs when airlines do not provide
  advance declaration of firearms to interlining UK
  airline
• Unescorted firearm arrives on the conveyor belt
  or misses connecting flight
• Leads to confiscation/seizure of firearms
• Individual arrived in UK, retrieved firearm from
  conveyor belt and proceeded to hotelnext day
  arrived at the counter with firearm
• Strictly against British Lawsubject to
  imprisonment

UNDECLARED FIREARMS

• CTO should pre-register firearms with departing
  airline(s)
• Airline must inform UK airline(s) of firearm on
  board
• Airline security arranges seamless transfer of
  firearms upon arrival
• Firearms will be confiscated/seized if not
  cleared
• Confiscated firearms will be returned
• Seized firearms are considered property of Her
  Majestys Custom and Excise
