Overview

• Location
• 61 Carlton, just south of Broadway.
• Size
• Dalnavert is a four level Victorian home, and the
  visitors center has a large gift shop and an
  auditorium with seating for 75 people.
• Clientele
• The clientele of the museum varies from the young
  to the old. Majority of our guests are people
  visiting the city, but we do have a large number
  of guests that are from Winnipeg.

MY RESPONSIBLITIES

• My main duties at the museum were
• Tour guiding
• I took guest through out the house explaining how
  the rich lived in 1895.
• Guest services
• Working the cash register.
• Suggestive selling to most of our guests.
• Setting up and taking down tables and chairs for
  events, as well as cleaning up afterwards.

Other responsibilities

• Some of my other responsibilities were
• Cleaning up after Pip
• Ironing table clothes.
• Serving people their dinner and cleaning up after
  the unorganized wedding.

The one and only time I got in trouble

• I never got in trouble at work for anything
  major. The only thing I got in trouble for was I
  didnt feed poor Pip enough food. I have never
  seen Linda so mad as I did that one day.

Interesting things at Dalnavert

In the end

• After Emailing Mr. Thornton everyday and
  Patiently waiting to see if I got the job (almost
  a month), I was glad that Dalnavert was were I
  spent my summer.
• I learned a lot and had a great time!!
