• Blog is a shortened form of the word Weblog and
  refers to a specific variety of Website where the
  content is provided in an ongoing series of dated
  entries.
• These entries, or posts, are typically displayed
  in reverse chronological order most recent
  first, bringing the latest content to the top of
  the Webpage and making new material easy to
  identify.

• In addition to requiring little or no knowledge
  of HTML coding to produce, Weblogs are designed
  to facilitate easy usage and frequent updating by
  the author(s).

DEPARTMENTAL COMMUNICATIONS CDList

• CDList Shelf-ready books
• CDListers, Lorrie Pellack has relayed to me that
  some bibliographers have a number of questions
  about the Yankee Approval Shelf-Ready Program,
  which ISUL will be implementing in January. When
  we talked about it at the September CDC meeting,
  there was not a lot of information available
  beyond the fact that it would most likely be
  implemented. I know more now, so rather than
  making you all wait for our December 9 CDC
  meeting, here is a recap of the background, and
  more detailed information about what I know
