Childhood

• Was born March 14, 1879 in Ulm
• Started school and violin lessons in 1885
• In 1891 he started learning about calculus
• In 1894 his family moved to Milan but, Albert
  remained to finish his education
• In 1895 Albert failed an examination that did not
  let him get a diploma

Early Adulthood

• After failing Albert went to a secondary school
• He succeeded and graduated in 1900 as a teacher
  in math and physics
• In 1901 Albert was teaching math at Winterhur
• 1902 Albert got a job at the patent office and
  was quickly promoted.
• 1905 he earned a doctorate for his thesis on
  molecular dimensions.
• After 1905 Einstein continued working in the
  areas described above. He made important
  contributions to quantum theory.

Adulthood

• In 1911 Einstein resigned from the patent office
  and got a job as a professor after submitting his
  paper of radiation energy.
• In 1912 he started his work on gravitational
  inequalties.
• He was able conclude his research and called it
  the theory of relativity.
• In 1914 he was offered a job at the Academy of
  Science.
• Finally, in 1915 the general theory was published
  and to great success.
• In 1921 Einstein received the Nobel prize.

Late Adulthood

• During this time he made many international
  trips.
• By 1933 Einstein went to Princeton to complete
  more work.
• In 1940 Einstein became an American citizen.
• By 1949 Einstein became unwell.
• He drew up his will by 1950.
• He wrote his last letter in 1954.
• Einstein was cremated and his ashes were
  scattered at Trenton, at an un disclosed place.
