I was bundled off to boarding school in Singapore
at the age of 10!!!

Eight interminable, traumatic years latermy
parents decided to move the family to

Early years in Canada
After several months of idleness (arriving at the
end of the school year will do that to you), I
enrolled in Capilano College in North Vancouver.
I transferred to UBC two years later and
graduated with a BA in English in 1994.

Then it was out into the big, bad world

• Where I looked for a jobone that would utilize
  my degree in English Literature.
• Naturally, I ended up in sales.
• My varied work experience includes

• Sales at Coles Books
• Sales at Image Media Services (Educational
  Software)
• Sales at Ingram Micro (Computer hardware
  software distributor)
• Sales at Intense Software (Graphic Arts software)
• Sales at Creo (More Graphic Arts software)

BUT...

• I thought that there must be more to life than
  worrying about someone elses bottom line

• So, I thought and thought and thought about what
  my next step should be...

And then

• Inspiration hit!

I realized that

• It was time to revisit an old plan
• It was time to go back to school
• It was time for

SLAIS!!!

And so

• I sent in an application.

And then I waited.
And waited.
And waited.
And waited.

Until finally
I was accepted!!!

Today
Ive started at SLAIS and I am looking forward to
the new career ahead!
