    beginning with the class of 2008
  • Standards are quite extensive including major
    elements of personal financial management and
    planning, career planning, basic economics, and
    consumer awareness.
  • Material can be dry including objectives like
    Discuss the history and role of credit.

  • At this point, founders of The MoneyPlanner
    approached us and wanted us to develop a high
    school appropriate curriculum around their
    product line.
  • It became apparent that the course they wanted
    was very similar to the course we knew we had to
    produce anyway.

How is it Going So Far?
  • Our partner has created an in class workbook
    based on our course which is being used in
    schools in Utah
  • Our IS course launched August 31st with no
    advertising or fanfare. Enrollments moderate so
    far (20)
  • Feedback from students so far is positive
  • Possible course improvements are being examined

    project
  • Clearly identify responsibilities of each partner
    in formal contracts
