Notes on Student Rostering
  • Students are rostered into PMRN based on the
schools enrollment data provided to PMRN by the
district. This happens three times a year.
  • If you get a NEW student you will be able to ADD
these new students so they appear on your Data
    Entry Summary Page.
  • If a student is appearing in the wrong class,
make the changes by Signing In the PMRN and
    accessing the Classes/Periods tab.

12
Adding Students
  • Classroom teachers have the ability to ADD
    students to classes.
  • To ADD a student, click on the Summary tab under
    Scheduled Tasks.
  • Click the Add Student link.

13
Adding Students continued
  • To locate a student in the PMRN database you
should use the students First Name, Last Name,
and Birth Date. Once you have entered this
information, click the Search button. If the
student is found by the search, select the
student and then click NEXT. This student is
    then added to your class!

14
Enrolling Students
  • Fill in the required information on the screen.
  • The identifier is the number 36 followed by the
    student ID. (no spaces)
  • Select the appropriate gender from the drop-down
    menus.
  • Click Add. The student will then be added to your
    class.

15
Assessment Calendar
  • Classroom Teachers will have access to the
Assessment Calendar via a button on the Scheduled
    Tasks tab
  • The Assessment Calendar shows key dates in the
PMRN, including lockdown dates and dates of the
    Assessment Periods.

16
Ongoing Progress Monitoring (OPM)
  • Next to the Scheduled Tasks tab you will also
have an Ongoing Progress Monitoring tab.
  • Even when using the Web-Based Assessment Module
(WAM) for the other tasks you must enter Oral
Reading Fluency (ORF) though the Data Entry Page,
as it is not available on the WAM.
  • For Oral Reading Fluency (ORF), the number
correct, number of errors, passage number, and
the time it took the student to read the passage
must all be entered before a score will be
    accepted.

17
Save and Submit Buttons
  • There are two options for keeping scores in the
    PMRN
  • Saving via the Save button temporarily saves the
    scores and allows editing.
  • Submitting via the Submit button permanently
records the scores and sends them to the PMRN.
Use this option when you have proofed and
corrected the scores and have no more
    corrections.
