  • Video 20 minutes (3 different segments)
  • a. Segment 1 Presentation
  • b. Segment 2 Monitoring Practice
  • c. Segment 3 Closure
  • Segments can come from different lessons but
    must be part of
  • the same unit and taken from the same
    class.
  • When editing the three segments together, the
    camera may start
  • and stop between each of the segments but
    the camera may not
  • start and stop within each of the three
    individual segments.

  • Entry 2 Assessment for Student Learning
  • Pick two students to analyze
  • Make sure your assessment is important to the
    specific goal within the unit.
  • You can use written tests or skills test
    (measurable)
  • Assessments should come from different points of
    the unit.

    Environment
  • 1. Video Continues 20 minute video
  • a. How you manage the transition from one
    activity to another.
  • b. Instructional practices
  • c. Connections regarding the value of physical
    activity.
  • Choose video segment that shows greatest number
    of students.
  • Whole class instruction/small group learning,
    individual work
  • grouping strategies.
  • Show maximum time on task for all students.
  • Engage students in a physically safe and
    emotionally secure environment

  • There are no surprises
  • Find out unknown terminology
  • Talk with district special ed person
  • Get out the old college books ( force, levers,
    gravity etc.)
