Tour Dates Thursday 12th AprilSunday 15th April
2007
Accommodation The Ramada Hotel and Health Spa
has confirmed accommodation and we have paid a
deposit for everyone. Rates include bed,
breakfast and evening meal. We are working on
room allocations and will let you know in due
course. Please remember this is a tour and not a
bespoke family holiday, so we will have to ask
for a few people to be flexible with rooms and
chalets.
Photography Mark Henning has kindly agreed to
co-ordinate efforts here. We want a lot of snaps
of every age group, playing and socialising, also
of the parents and the hotel. The airports and
coaches could provide some good opportunities and
it would be great to have some at the Munster
game too. If you are a budding David Bailey and
fancy helping, please contact Mark through the
U14s.
Transport A massive thanks for a monumental
effort by Karen Page, Sharon Keate and Tim
Sheehan on the flights, accommodation and
transport. Coach arrangements are nearly
finalised (UK and Eire) and will be communicated
as soon as confirmed.

Stash We want the players to feel special. Kit
bags, smart and playing shirts for the players
only have been ordered and will be with us in
late March. Waterproof tops for the players and
coaches are on their way too. Polo shirts for
every tourist are also on order. We have used
suppliers with the emphasis being on quality.

Well (http//www.sundayswellrfc.com/) Great
work Tim Sheehan!
The Brochure
Sponsorship Fund-raising
Is now in final draft stage and will be ready 4
weeks before we travel. This is a high quality
item with some very high profile goodwill
messages, articles and adverts. Mark (Stats)
Henning has driven this hard thanks. This is
a quality promotional item and will provide a
great memory of the tour.
Youve all done an excellent job thank you so
much! We continue to receive donations as well as
sponsorship please keep it coming. Weve
nearly reached our targets, but have had a lot to
pay out in the last month on hotel deposits and
stash, plus various other costs. So we still need
you to keep working on this and get as much in
the door before the end of February as you can.
The more we raise now, the less chance well have
to ask for more later. Remember that for the
individual players that raise the most there are
two tickets to be won to watch England at
Twickenham!
Website Nigel continues to update this vital
information link for the whole club and the
touring party. Please check it out for all the

Social Events
Socials continue to be the bread butter of
our fund raising. The Freddie Mercury Night and
Pantomime brought in over 3,000 and the Quiz
Nite raised 1,300. George Breen and Joe Gluck
organised both a sponsored ride and a disco and
raised 250 well done lads! This really is a
family and club effort well done and keep
supporting the following events Casino Night -
Friday 2nd March Last Man Standing - Thursday 8th
March Auction of Services- Saturday 17th
March Other events being investigated are a
Touch Rugby tournament for all age groups and
a youth golf day.
The Minis Dont forget the ankle biters are off
to the Isle of Wight and to give Brooksy and the
families your support. Remember, most of our
junior lads came through this vital stage of
development. So a big thanks to all of their
continued support!
