  • Different to anyother experience
  • Try going to visit training practice
  • Talk to trainer / practice manager if needing
    study or annual leave early
  • Try to make the most of induction
  • Lots of paperwork needed
  • Start EARLY

  • FPGPR1 form- also called GPR payment form

  • Get VTR2 s signed from deanery
  • Register with RCGP for associate membership and
    certification (350)
  • Send VTR2 to RCGP
  • Sign contract with training practice
  • Ensure they have details for paying you !!!

Summative assessment
  • Audit- start asap, send asap, keep it simple,
    follow marking schedule
  • MCQs- easy, high pass rate, MRCGP MCQ pass valid
  • Video- THINK, start early, Single route vs. SA
    only
  • Trainers Report- look at competencies, might
    already have proof for some, keep doing as you go
