Adult literacy
  • 45 illiterate women coached at Vatwa, similar
    number at Himmatnagar
  • Started the service ahead of the center opening
    in Mehsana and Shah-e-Alam
  • Mainly oriented at women
  • Adult education led to toy making workshop

  • Members of local advisory board spread awareness
    about workshops
  • Door to door campaign
  • Attendance from 12 to 55
  • Aim is to have 20 workshops per month per center
  • Aim is to promote low cost technologies
  • Toy making seminars organized by NID faculty
