7Verification Routine
- Election agency collects name, DOB, and last four
digits of SSN - Transmitted to MVA
- MVA transmits to SSA via AAMVA
- SSA does exact search of name, month/year of
birth and last four - Real-time reply sent to MVA via AAMVA

- False positives cannot be identified
- Match rate?
- Last name changes not reported to SSA
- Proper first name historically not required
- Exact month/year of birth required
- SSA data may be outdated, incorrect
