The essence and the purposes of this European
initiative have already been a practice in our
city for 9 years. The active participation of
citizens in the decision-making process at local
level during the previous years as well as
sharing the ideas of the Council of Europe for
proximity, vibrant local democratic life and
democratic society gives us the confidence and
spirit to get involved in the project as a pilot
city.
