- Purpose to review the instructional and
educational support programs that the district
offers in its facilities and the relationship of
these programs to facilities. - Function to establish the foundation for
maintaining, modernizing, and adding new
facilities.

- List the facts about each existing school and
support facility. - Provides a capacity analysis of each facility.
- Assists in providing a basis for evaluating
facilities on a comparative basis. - Provides basis for school site maps for students,
staff, and parents.
4Division III - Demographics
- Contains an analysis of existing housing and
population data for the district. - Provides a basis for forecasting changes that
change the number of students served, residential
locations, school attendance boundaries, and the
need for new school facilities.
5Division IV Implementation Plan
- Identifies the existing facilities issues that
need attention, including deferred maintenance,
major maintenance, and modernization. - Identifies where new classrooms and support
facilities will be needed and facilities that may
be surplus. - Identifies equity issues among facilities and the
areas they serve.

- Establishes a plan to remedy issues and resolve
inequities. - Estimates costs and identifies and allocates
available funds. Also estimates where additional
funds may be available. - Establishes timelines for projects and
expenditures. - Provides a framework for facilities improvement
