Division I Educational Program
  • Purpose to review the instructional and
    educational support programs that the district
    offers in its facilities and the relationship of
    these programs to facilities.
  • Function to establish the foundation for
    maintaining, modernizing, and adding new
    facilities.

Division II Existing Facilities
  • List the facts about each existing school and
    support facility.
  • Provides a capacity analysis of each facility.
  • Assists in providing a basis for evaluating
    facilities on a comparative basis.
  • Provides basis for school site maps for students,
    staff, and parents.

Division III - Demographics
  • Contains an analysis of existing housing and
    population data for the district.
  • Provides a basis for forecasting changes that
    change the number of students served, residential
    locations, school attendance boundaries, and the
    need for new school facilities.

Division IV Implementation Plan
  • Identifies the existing facilities issues that
    need attention, including deferred maintenance,
    major maintenance, and modernization.
  • Identifies where new classrooms and support
    facilities will be needed and facilities that may
    be surplus.
  • Identifies equity issues among facilities and the
    areas they serve.
