- Quality Control is a very important step in the
data acquisition process at the Carolina
Mammography Registry. - All incoming data from our practices is
processed through our Quality Control System
(CMQCS).

- After processing incoming data, records with
possible errors are flagged and organized into a
document referred to as the Quality Control
Report, which is immediately printed and sent to
the practice.

- The purpose of the QC Report is to ensure that
all data in the Registry is accurate. - The reports provide an opportunity to
double-check records and make corrections to data
when necessary. Having the most updated data in
the Registry ensures you receive the most updated
information on your MQSA Audit Report and Outcome
Reports.

corresponds to the Error Message key.

negative assessment and the fact that imaging was
ordered. - What we need to know The EXACT FINDING (type of

corresponds to (right or left).
