• Gold nanoparticles were used to target breast
  cancer cells. Targeted cancer cells were
  visualized using optoacoustic tomography. This
  is a novel imaging technique that combines
  optical sectioning with ultrasound to overcome
  the limitations of conventional imaging methods.
