Course Substitutions in Majors and Minors
  • Use for transfer courses without a WKU
    equivalency
  • TRAN EL-L TRAN EL-U ART EL-L BIOL EL-U etc.
  • Majors and minors only
  • Option One Allow courses to count toward a
    major or minor for one student
  • Signature of advisor, department head, and dean
    required
  • Option Two Recommend an equivalency to a WKU
    course for all students
  • Signature of the department head who owns the
    course is required

  • Accept 1st level of a foreign language (if
    applicable)
  • Advisor, department head, dean must sign

  • The student must sign the Request to Change of
    Catalog Term/Year.
  • All forms should be delivered via campus mail or
    by a departmental or deans office representative
    to the iCAP Staff Potter Hall 237.
  • Processed exceptions are noted at the bottom of a
    students audit.
