Title: Spring Fair
1Spring Fair The date has been set for this years
Spring Fair! It will be on Saturday 26th April
and the theme will be Save our Planet. Parents
from the Y4/Y5 class will be organizing it, but
as usual we will need plenty of helpers on that
afternoon to man the stalls, so look out for
letters about this over the coming weeks.
Please also be warned that we will be asking you
for the usual array of donations to make the fair
a success. We will be needing raffle prizes,
chocolate items, lucky dip prizes (small, wrapped
and labeled boy or girl) and jam jars filled
with treats. Please dont feel you need to bring
something of everything, just what you can! Well
also be collecting any good quality new or used
toys, games, books, DVDs and CDs for the book
and toy stall. Also, if you have any contacts
or know of any organizations related to our theme
who may be able to provide a stall or attraction
at the fair, or if you have any good ideas,
please let Karen Bryer know (tel. 01606 881850).
WISH GRANTED! Due to the wonderful support you
have given PTA events so far this year, not only
has the Trim Trail become a reality but also the
next two requests have also been met. 500 of
reading books for KS2 and a community notice
board will be appearing in school soon. Well
done to all who have contributed in any way. Mrs
Walne the staff are currently prioritising
items in a new wish list which will form the
targets for forthcoming events watch this space
for more details.
Yellow Moon Catalogues As you will have seen the
new Yellow Moon publication has gone out (spares
in the office if you have missed it) but
unfortunately the source code sticker was not put
on the back. This code enables our school to
claim a percentage of the order value, so if you
place an order please quote SCU1092.
Webb Ivory Thanks to all who placed orders from
the Webb Ivory Christmas catalogue. In total we
raised 145.39, which is great!
(Revised) Diary Dates Due to some clashes with
school and other organisations events, some of
the dates for planned activities have had to be
changed, plus some others have now been
confirmed. Obviously we will remind you nearer
the time for all of them, but just so you can be
prepared Valentines Disco Friday 8th

Trim Trail Update Its nearly finished! As you
will have seen the Cushionfall has been laid a
huge thanks to Mr Foster for all his hard
work. During construction some of the edging
boards had to be repositioned from what was
detailed on the original plan. This meant that
the area to be covered has become slightly bigger
that is why there is a gap in the Cushionfall
at the end! More is on order once this is laid
there will be a grand opening ceremony more
details to follow from Mrs Walne.
