Forging New Generations of Engineers

• Project Lead The Way (PLTW) is a national
  not-for-profit organization established to help
  schools give students the knowledge they need to
  excel in high-tech fields.

The Goals

• Increase the number, quality, and diversity of
  engineers graduating from our educational system.
• Give students a chance to find out if engineering
  is the career for them before spending thousands
  of dollars on college courses.
• Bring pre-engineering curriculum and concepts to
  students through practical application while
  their opinions about careers and interests are
  still forming.

• 3rd Science or 4th Math requirement
• Designed around the needs of an engineer (STEM),
  not around alignment to the MMC.
