Thirumalai Nayak Palace

• Located in Madurai, Indonesia
• Designed by an Italian architect in 1636 AD
• The style of the Palace is Indo-Saracenic, this
  separated the palace in to 2 parts, Swargavilasa
  and Rangavilasa.
• Throughout the palace, there are 248 pillars, all
  around 58 ft. tall.

Alexander Palace

• Giacomo Quarenghi was the architect for
  Catherine the Greats grandsons palace
• The foundations are of stone, but throughout the
  palace, everything is mostly brick
• People who worked on this palace differed from
  Russian, British, and Italian craftsmen
• Took 4 years to construct
• Columns support entry arches (12m tall)
• West is made of black stone.

The Royal Palace of Stockholm

• The palaces style is Baroque
• Built by the architect Nicodemus Tessin
• Formed like a Roman palace
• More than 600 rooms
• Has an inner courtyard
• Palace was built of bricks and some sections were
  covered with sandstone.
• Roof is covered with copper
• Has stone balustrades that stretch over the whole
  palace.

• Dravidian, Indo-Saracenic, Roman and Oriental
• Columns, red domes, marble floors, carved
  mahogany ceilings, ornate arches, stained glass
  and massive doors inlaid with ivory
