General situation
  • Production of more than 1 million cars a year in
    the Slovak Republic from 2010
  • OEMs turnover ca. 18 billion (VW, PSA and KIA)
  • Auto-suppliers turnover ca. 12 billion
  • 14 OEMs in a circle of 500 km around Bratislava
    with yearly production of 4 million cars
  • Critical mass of automotive suppliers in Western
    Slovakia few hundreds of supplying companies
  • Region of Trnava has all prerequisites to become
    a centre of proposed cluster covering whole
    Western Slovakia (incl. regions of Trnava,
    Bratislava, Nitra and Trencin)
