Type MAC in the order entry line
Select MAC Admission Grid New
Instead of making the order set too bigwe linked
all these other order sets

All orders entered remotely or prior to the
patients arrival can be placed on hold

1- Code Status
There are 3 orders pre-checked Simply de-click
if the order is not needed
2- Placement information
3- Blood cultures PRN temp gt 101 ID Consult

Some fields are already defaulted for you but you
can easily change the default
To change a defaulted field, simply click on it
and the usual drop down menu will appear
Note Placement is defaulted to ICM Protocol
Note Consult MD is defaulted to today

If it is a white background you can change
it If it is gray, you cant

All Red Stars are Mandatory Fields, just like
normal. When you click on the red star, the drop
down menu or a free text area appears
To select an order, just put a check mark in the
box and click once only

The top EKG is the do it now one and the second
is the PRN chest pain EKG, so you may want both

If you want to open the order to get to the usual
screen, just double click

All you need to do here is click on the red star
once and then enter the IV infusion rate
PRNs already in Just click and go
You can change the dose or frequency of any of
these medications, just click on it, make it
blue and type in the new value
