Questions to be answered

• Technological issues or methodologies? Too much
  focus on technical/technology foundation, where
  is the Human factor?
• Functional (vertical) domains or technology
  (horizontal) environment.
• Business Processes (BPs) are living in the domain
  rather than in technology,
• The technology has to be modeled for the domain
  rather than the BPs in the domain to be modeled
  for the technical environment.
• The domain drives the requirements
• Define which domains are important and prioritize
  them and focus technology requirements and
  implementation on these domains

Challenges

• What is a new challenge and how to propose and
  evaluate it
• No financial or resource support or fund to help
  SME to make proposals. But for SME is a bit
  difficult to invest in time and resources
  consuming jobs like making project proposals for
  the framework programs. A support is needed for
  SMEs to have appropriate participation in
  projects
• Small, medium or BIG Big companies and
  organizations that have a lot of available
  resources (human and financial) are mostly
  winning the framework projects, directing
  research and using the results respectively.
