In the SLORITTS Action plan Slovenia is proposed
as one integrated destination based on good
practice of Shannon and Umbria
The ERDF Call in June 2004 for tourism did not
support the project proposals for Slovenian
integrated tourist products and marketing

What I learned?
the importance of innovation was markedly
strenghtened during implementation of SLORITTS
project , particularly national consensus
Local government and byrocrates start
understanding innovation culture
Ljubljana identified its role of the capital
during the implementation of SLORITTS
City of Ljubljana benefited from SLORITTS in
improvement of its organisational structure in
direction of business and innovation-formation of
Innovation Development board of Ljubljana
The three National conferences started with
SLORITTS strongly contributed to awereness of
innovation culture

The role of the project managment team-PMT
PMT consisted of one expert from City department
for SME and tourism, one expert from reasearch
environment and IRC, one expert director of
Technology Park Ljubljana, RRCO for management
and finances, one PR expert


PMT members started their work in preparation of
SLORITTS , during implementation and continues
to work after the official end of SLORRITS
prepared two projects for structural funds
2004-2006, and participated in preparation of
several 6 FP and Interreg IIIC projects
