Productivity - Teaching
  • Introductory courses (Biostat 183 and 187) enroll
    about 150 students per year.
  • Our intermediate sequence, Biostat 208-209,
    taught primarily to the ATCR and MCR students,
    now enrolls 50 students.
  • Vittinghoff, Glidden, Shiboski and McCulloch
    published a book for Biostat 208-209 (Springer,
    2005).
  • New courses BMI 209 Statistical analysis of
    microarray data, Biostat 200 Intro biostats for
    TICR and MCR students.

Future Plans
  • Revitalized seminar series Mitch Gail will be
    visiting in the Spring,
  • Co-sponsor a small workshop on adaptive trial
    design,
  • Revamp both services and teaching curriculum as
    CTSI develops.
