letters on a monthly basis.

of the clearance letters.

County for rejecting registration

Enforcement Division compiles all County
clearance letters on a monthly basis.
Enforcement Division sends County Auditors a
report of the fees recovered.

SOCORRO SCOFFLAW
Enforcement Division will collect outstanding
traffic citation fees and will provide customer a
clearance letter.
Enforcement Division will deposit the monies on
General Fund.
A check will be issued to Socorro on a monthly
basis for all monies collected less 30 per
license plate.
When citations are paid Socorro will be able
extract the information from TACSA and recall
warrants.
24Flagging and Clearing Process
- City or County sends probe file to TXDOT
- Registration Year
- License Plate Number
- Code (county number)
- TXDOT returns file with VIN numbers to City or
County - City or County reformats file and returns it to
TXDOT with Flag or Clear request
