following 2 things in order to get version
records in the LMA - As a one-time action, you need to associate your
managed package with an LMO in AppExchange. - Each time you upload your managed package, you
need to go to AppExchange and Register your

10My customers and prospects are installing my
Managed Package. But I dont see the Lead and
License records in the LMA. Why?
- You need to ensure that you have done the
following 2 things in order to get lead and
license records in the LMA - As a one-time action, you need to associate your
managed package with an LMO in AppExchange. - Each time you upload your managed package, you

11How can I change the LMO for my Managed Package?

LMO as you dont have any mechanism to change it
once you have set it. However, if there are
important reasons for you to change your LMO,
please contact Salesforce Partner Support
12Do I need to associate my Managed Package with an
LMO each time I upload a new version?
- No. You need to associate your Managed Package
with the LMO only once. After that, every time
you upload and register your package, the package
is automatically associated with the LMO.
13Can I create my own Package, Package Version and
License Records in LMA?
- We strongly urge you to NOT do so. The main
purpose of LMA is to notify you when you upload
packages to AppExchange and when customers go to
AppExchange and download your packages. So apart
from setting your Lead Manager in Package Object,
please do NOT create, modify or delete Package,
Package Version and License Records.
14Can I add new custom fields to Package, Package
Version and License Records in LMA?
- You can add custom fields, but please ensure that
these fields that you create are NOT mandatory or
required fields. This is because Salesforce
creates records in these custom objects when
packages are uploaded and installed and we will
not be able to do so if you create mandatory
fields.
15I have uploaded my Package, but when I go to
AppExchange, I see Pending instead of Register
- There is a delay of about 10-15 minutes before
you can see the Register hyperlink next to your
Managed Package. After 15 mins, you will be able
to see the Register hyperlink and register your
package.
