WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I APPLY?
  • Normally over 100 people apply for each
    position.
  • Once the announcement closes, all resumes are
    reviewed using RESUMIX and manual review.
  • The top candidates (normally 5-25) are referred
    to the selecting official (normally the
    supervisor of the job)
  • The supervisor may make a selection based on
    review of the resumes, or may opt to interview.
  • If interviews are conducted, the selecting
    official will identify the top 5 plus candidates
    to interview.
  • Once a selection is made, the selectee will be
    notified by phone and asked to provide further
    information.
  • Other candidates can go to ANSWER to find out
    if they were referred, and the status of the
    selection.
