• cranes SF5 (3,2t), SUX5 (8t), SH5 (10t), USC55

• F276 contractor TAIM (ES)
• SX5 (80t and 80t), UXC55 (20t)
• New crane SDX5 (10t) to be studied and integrated
  in one of the contract

• SF5 3,2t. Installation completed in 2001.
  Commissioned.
• SUX5 8t. Installation completed in 2001.
  Commissioned.
• SH5 10t. Installation completed in 2002.
  Commissioned.
• USC55 10t. Installation foreseen in July 2003.

CMS crane status

• F27610 contractor TAIM (ES)
• FC done September 1998.
• SX5 2x80t on feet. Commissioned in year 2000.
• UXC55 20t. Commissioning foreseen for June-July
  June 2003 (according to CE schedule)
• New crane to be installed in SX5 (or SDX5?) under
  discussion with both contractors

• 1 crane LHCb,

• cranes SDH8 (5t). Installed and commissioned in
  2001.

Conclusions

• 21 cranes to be installed for the 4 LHC
  experiments
• 6 cranes still to be installed (4 for ATLAS, 2
  for CMS)
• 1 under discussion (CMS)
• Satisfactory results and delays
• Simultaneous worksites
• plannings continuously changing up to the
  delivery (penalties almost inapplicable)
• Difficulties to manage the restricted spaces
  (caverns)
• Clients continuously changing technical
  parameters up to the delivery
