Why is this Module so Hard

• Understand the definition and scope of patient
  safety

  events (and its shortcomings) in healthcare

• All subsections take 90-120 minutes to cover

How to Pick Subsections if you have lt 2hours

• Read a case that you are familiar with and that
  hits home with your audience, and ask
• What are the types of errors associated with this
  case?
• Where did these errors occur? What systems were
  involved?
• What information do you need to identify the
  risks for these errors?
