• 20 of a selected invertebrate
• Testing Chamber (boxes, containers, etc.)
• Heat source (pads)-if doing temp
• Paper towels
• Light bulbs, saran wrap different light colors
• Various surfaces/substrates
• Magnets
• Soil types

Suggested Invertebrates

• Sow bugs
• Earthworms
• Crickets
• Meal worms
• Snails
• Brine Shrimp
• Insects (ants, silverfish, etc)
• Crabs
• Any other invertebrate that I approve
• Need a minimum of 20

Mondays Lab

• The following will be provided for you
• Thermometer
• Ice
• Lamps, light source
• Petri dishes
• Water
• Stopwatch, clock

• Planning A B write-up
• Introduction Background
• Research Question/Problem
• Clear Hypothesis (predicted statement)
• Must be unique and not the same as another in
  your group using the same invertebrate
• Independent Dependent Variables defined
• Control
• Materials list
• Detailed procedure
• Data table-to record your data
