Sea Lion Habitat

• They live around islands.
• They like rocks, boulders, ledges, gravel, and
  sandy beaches.
• They like warm and cold water.
• They give birth on islands and sandy beaches.

Sea lion

• Baby sea lion drink there mothers rich milk.
  The mother and dad eat squids, octopuses,
  and fish.
• They do not chew their food.

Special Characteristics

• The blubber of a sealion is used for
  cooking , heat , and light . It keeps itself
  warm.
• Theyre great swimmers.

• When sealions are born they are slate
  gray for about six month. Then they turn
  dark brown until about age 2 and then
  turn a
  lighter tan.

• A female is called a cow . A male is
  called a bull . A baby is called a
  pup.

• When the baby sea lion wants a piggy
  back ride, the mother lays in the sea
  and the baby sea lion climbs on the mother
  sea lion.

• When baby sea lions go up to a different
  mother sea lion, that sea lion pushes it away.
