Scouting for Food
  • This Saturday April 17, 900AM
  • Meet at the Scout Building to distribute bags
  • Should only take 1 hour if everyone comes

Galena Schedule
  • Next Tuesday Normal meeting at Scout building
  • Check all tents
  • Set up two patrol boxes
  • Everyone going must meet 600 PM Thursday with
    all their gear at Scout building to pack
  • Dragons and Mulletmen meet at 700AM Friday 4/23
  • Frontiersmen meet at noon on Friday 4/23
  • Will return late Sunday afternoon.

What to Bring
  • Class A uniform
  • We always travel in Class A
  • Needed for breakfast, dinner, and court of honor
  • Troop T-shirts
  • At least one each Blue, Red, Gray
  • Mosquito netting, non-aerosol repellant
  • Money for Trading post and merit badge supplies
  • Bank Scoutmaster
  • Scout book and merit badge books
  • Merit badge cards
  • Merit badge prerequisites

What not to bring
  • Food or drinks other than water
  • Will be discarded before entering camp
  • Electronics
  • Must be left in vehicles if brought
  • Aerosol cans of any kind
  • Parents will be called and asked to retrieve
  • Lighters of any kind
  • Scout could be sent home
  • Fireworks, Drugs, Tobacco
  • Scout sent home

  • Parent must review and sign every year
  • Physical within the last 3 years
  • Adults under 40
  • Review and sign health history every year
  • Physical within the last 3 years
  • Adults over 40
  • New physical every year

  • How Many?
  • First year scouts 1-2 (level 1)
  • Brownsea 9-11 and 230-330
  • If 1 merit badge 1100 am
  • If 2 merit badges 130 PM
  • All other scouts 3-4

  • Friday evening at 700
  • Parents Welcome
  • Scout Bucks Auction

High Adventure Programs
  • An option for experienced scouts 13 and over
  • COPE (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience) at
    Phillips Scout Reservation -Tuesday or Wednesday,
    Cost 10
  • St. Croix Falls Rock Climbing - Tuesday or
    Friday, Cost 15
  • White Water Rafting Monday or Thursday, Cost 35

Scoutmaster Expectations
  • Live by the Scout Oath and Law
  • Follow the Troop Rules and Camp Standards
  • Show respect for all adults and scouts
  • Harassment of any kind is not allowed
  • No name calling, or picking on anyone
  • Harassment will result in being sent home
  • Campsite and Tents kept clean and organized
  • No Personal items left on tables when not in use
  • No Cards before 9PM or during any scheduled
    activity
  • Participate in the whole program and have fun

Adult Campers
  • Need 4 adults at camp at all times
  • Partial week OK, but must overlap times
  • More that 4 is great, after first four lines are
    filled
  • Cost
  • 59 per week or 10.50 per day
  • Please pick a time on the Adult Sign-up Sheet
