Luke 10 38 Now it happened as they went that He
entered a certain village and a certain woman
named Martha welcomed Him into her house. 39 And
she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at
Jesus' feet and heard His word. 40 But Martha was
distracted with much serving, and she approached
Him and said, Lord, do You not care that my
sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell
her to help me. 41 And Jesus answered and said to
her, Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled
about many things. 42 But one thing is needed,
and Mary has chosen that good part, which will
not be taken away from her.

Acts 9 36 At Joppa there was a certain disciple
named Tabitha, which is translated Dorcas. This
woman was full of good works and charitable deeds
which she did. 37 But it happened in those days
that she became sick and died. When they had
washed her, they laid her in an upper
room. 38 And since Lydda was near Joppa, and the
disciples had heard that Peter was there, they
sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay
in coming to them. 39 Then Peter arose and went
with them. When he had come, they brought him to
the upper room. And all the widows stood by him
weeping, showing the tunics and garments which
Dorcas had made while she was with them.

Acts 16 11 And on the Sabbath day we went out of
the city to the riverside, where prayer was
customarily made and we sat down and spoke to
the women who met there. 14 Now a certain woman
named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple
from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The
Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken
by Paul. 15 And when she and her household were
baptized, she begged us, saying, if you have
judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my
house and stay. So she persuaded us.
