- Formal Design Option
- Based on simple and clear axial lines.
- Emphasis on major views and walking ways.
- Major flagstone pathway -5 wide, ADA
accessible - Garden area divided into smaller planting areas
maintained be volunteer groups. - Use same color palette throughout the garden.
- Major spaces of the design include rectangular
seating area. - Focal point area and adjacent to the Food Stand
gathering/waiting area. - The pergola adjacent to the 4-H building -
shaded walkway leading to the focal point area. - The focal point is a sculpture, placed on viewing
axis - art piece created by youth groups,
specifically for the Worth County Fair as a
competition project. - Small stone water feature
- Trellises inspired by Norwegian folk art -
decorate plain white metal walls and to reduce
reflecting light.
