  • We would like each child to have a postcard from
    their family while we are away. Please send your
    postcard into school by Friday 8th May. We will
    be taking these with us to give out during the 3
    days.

The Accommodation
  • New 1.4 million centre which has been purpose
    built and full disabled access and facilities are
    available.
  • Children stay in coloured log cabin style
    dormitories. Each dormitory sleeps 6-8 children
    in bunk beds. All bedding is provided.
  • There is a large dining hall, two ultra modern
    classroom/meeting areas, a TV and games lounge,
    an arts and crafts room, a medical room and
    outdoor play areas.
  • Skilled and experienced centre staff are on hand
    to provide full support, including during evening
    activities.
  • Lincolnsfield is a pleasant country setting, with
    its pond, ancient woodland and environmental
    study area
  • Safety is given highest priority, and full
    risk assessments are available for all
    activities. These are regularly updated. The
    self-contained, 24-acre site is a secure and safe
    environment.

Meals
  • As it was so successful last year, we plan to
    use our own catering courtesy of
  • Chez Bates, Wright Peddel and we can arrange
    for special diets if required due to religious,
    ethical or medical reasons. BreakfastThis is
    normally served at 9 o'clock in the Centre's
    dining hall and consists of cereals, toast,
    juice, milk, water, tea or coffee. Lunch This
    is usually a packed lunch consisting of rolls or
    sandwiches, fresh fruit, and a drink. On
    excursion days picnic lunches are
    provided.DinnerNormally served at 5 o'clock in
    the Centre's dining hall, this is a full cooked
    meal with pudding and soft drinks.SupperThis
    is always provided, left in the lounge to be
    eaten when required. It normally consists of milk
    and a biscuit.

Activities
  • Walks, rambles, outside games, minibeast hunt,
    parachute games, field games, nature hunt,
    treasure trail and tree hugging as well as
    campfire singing!
  • Topsy Turvey World (now called Funky Kidz) This
    indoor adventure area offers children 4,000
    square feet of non-stop energetic fun!

Adult Supervision
  • Centre staff are in constant attendance to lead
    activities and make sure children are well
    supervised
  • 7 school staff will be staying overnight and will
    be joined during the day by other staff from
    school

    Hannah, James
  • Day 2 Joann, Elain, Margaret, Lorraine, Hannah,

What you need to do now
  • Complete the permission letter which will go out
    on Wedneday and provide payment (cheque for 65)
    by the latest Friday 27th March. Priority will
    be given on first come first serve. There are 70
    places.
  • Meeting on Tues 28 April at 6.30pm to give
    details of arrangements for the trip.
