- Associations are formed for the same reasons that
draw people together - A common purpose, a forum to share experiences
and concerns and a desire for self and group
improvements.

workable plan to fulfill its mission

is in direct proportion to the enthusiasm,
commitment and participation of its members.

- Between these two associations you see a lot of
similarities. All law enforcement associations
are created to better law enforcement exploring.
Through the networking that goes on during
meetings and between meetings law enforcement
posts are making improvements.

association

- BSA Statement on Associations (June 12, 1992)
- During the 1990 National Law Enforcement Explorer
Competition at Boulder, CO, BSA took a survey of
the Advisors and found out about all of the
different associations. Two years later, they
made a statement to the Councils, that they will
work with the associations and came up with some
guidelines for all to follow.

- The statement that was made was mainly to ensure
that the association and the council work
together and that each knows the responsibility
of the other.

- Summary
- Law Enforcement Exploring Associations are
extremely beneficial to the Law Enforcement
Exploring program. A well organized and proactive
association can make the difference between a
region or state having a mediocre program or an
outstanding program.
