Video and Conferencing Technologies (VC) for
Teaching and Learning
The commitment by the University to sustainable,
high quality teaching requires extensive use of
VC to reduce inter-campus travel and to ensure
all students, in whatever context, are taught by
research-active experts in their field. Exeter
Pathfinder bid, 2007

- Between Exeter and Cornwall around 460 VC
teaching sessions - - saved approximately 96,600 miles travel
- 63 weeks staff time
- CO2 emissions reduced by 34 tonnes.
