  • Generally clubs charge somewhere around 20 to

2. Registration Fees
  • Generally, across Australia, registration fees
    are in the vicinity of 40 to 150 for juniors
    and 120 - 300 for seniors

    Little things count framed certificate, club
    t/shirt, newsletter mention, sponsors days. By
    way of a guide, Junior clubs of 400 players are
    capable of raising 20k . Keep in constant touch
    with your sponsors.
  • Signage can include Honour Boards, Bill Boards, A
    Frames
  • What businesses are based in your area (Brisbane
    vs Roma)? This will have an impact on your
    sponsorship objectives

6. The Club Monster Raffle
  • In 2007 the League conducted a national raffle
    open to all Rugby League clubs in Australia
  • 134 prizes were sourced from Harvey Norman
  • Over 200 Clubs participated
  • Initially clubs were offered up to 1000 tickets
    _at_ 5 per ticket. Over 160,000 tickets were
    requested
  • In excess of 250K was raised

MONSTER RAFFLE 2008
  • The Monster Raffle will be conducted again in
    2008
  • Ten major prizes will be on offer
  • Information for the 2008 program will be posted

Monster Raffle Success
  • Rockingham Sharks (WA) Split the books and
    allocated a block of tickets to each player, both
    junior and senior. Club Incentive provided for
    high sale numbers
  • Brothers Junior RL (Brisbane) Conducted their
    own club raffle, with the prize of being listed
    on all 1000 tickets

7. 100 CLUB
  • Advantage is that they are easy to conduct
  • Clubs are charging between 2 and 5.
  • Generally raise 300 per home game over 10 games

8. AUCTION NIGHTS
  • Auction Nights
  • All costs covered in the cost of entry
  • Combination of silent and active auctions
  • Prizes include a wide range of items that appeal
    to all members including things like 300 worth
    of electrical work
  • Sponsor or Trivia Nights
  • Can involve fund raising games such as 2 coin at
    a bottle of booze and games such heads and tails.
