9APN-7
- APN-7 provides funding for
- CSE
- New buys
- Replenishment and replacements
- PSE
- SE for out of production Aircraft not associated
with an ECP - Example NP600 was originally to be PSE for the
CH-46E and was funded by APN-7
10APN-7 Process
- CNAF sends out data call for next year
submissions 1 month after current years APN-7
review - Each MALS submits top 20 NIINS to Wing with
sufficient justification. Submissions must be
More than 10,000, 2V or 6R cog, and not be
listed as consumable, locally manufactured or
assembled. - Each Wing can submit their top 40 requirements to
CNAF - L-Class submits their top 20
- Once received CNAF ensures NIINs are not already
on the buy list or being provided by another PMA.
If not it goes to pre-review held in Oct.
11APN-7 Pre-review
- Each NIIN is reviewed to see if fleet
distributions can fill requirements or if the
NIIN is being superceded (knowledge previously
unknown). - All remaining NIINs are then put on the APN-7
list for discussion at the APN-7 review in Apr. - APN-7 list is given to NAWC Lakehurst
12APN-7 Review
- Each NIIN is briefed by NAWC. NAWC provides data
such as impact if not bought, earliest contract
date and recommendations for procurement. - TYCOMS then decide which NIINs will be funded,
who will require item, how many will be bought
and over how many years based on budget. - Delivery order (who gets it first) is not decided
at APN-7
