(Psalm 83-9) When I consider Your heavens,
the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars,
which You have ordained, What is man that You are
mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit
him? For You have made him a little lower than
the angels, And You have crowned him with glory
and honor. You have made him to have dominion
over the works of Your hands You have put all
things under his feet, All sheep and oxen-Even
the beasts of the field, The birds of the air,
And the fish of the sea That pass through the
paths of the seas. O LORD, our Lord, How
excellent is Your name in all the earth!

(Isaiah 4012-17) Who has measured the waters in
the hollow of His hand, Measured heaven with a
span And calculated the dust of the earth in a
measure? Weighed the mountains in scales And the
hills in a balance? Who has directed the Spirit
of the LORD, Or as His counselor has taught Him?
With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed
Him, And taught Him in the path of justice? Who
taught Him knowledge, And showed Him the way of
understanding? Behold, the nations are as a drop
in a bucket, And are counted as the small dust on
the scales Look, He lifts up the isles as a very
little thing. And Lebanon is not sufficient to
burn, Nor its beasts sufficient for a burnt
offering. All nations before Him are as nothing,
And they are counted by Him less than nothing and
worthless.

(1 Peter 110-12) Of this salvation the
prophets have inquired and searched carefully,
who prophesied of the grace that would come to
you, searching what, or what manner of time, the
Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating
when He testified beforehand the sufferings of
Christ and the glories that would follow. To them
it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to
us they were ministering the things which now
have been reported to you through those who have
preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit
sent from heaven--things which angels desire to
look into.

(Hebrews 214-16) Inasmuch then as the
children have partaken of flesh and blood, He
Himself likewise shared in the same, that through
death He might destroy him who had the power of
death, that is, the devil, and release those who
through fear of death were all their lifetime
subject to bondage. For indeed He does not give
aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed
of Abraham.

(Job 716-21) I loathe my life I would not
live forever. Let me alone, For my days are but a
breath. "What is man, that You should exalt him,
That You should set Your heart on him, That You
should visit him every morning, And test him
every moment? How long? Will You not look away
from me, And let me alone till I swallow my
saliva? Have I sinned? What have I done to You, O
watcher of men? Why have You set me as Your
target, So that I am a burden to myself? Why then
do You not pardon my transgression, And take away
my iniquity? For now I will lie down in the dust,
And You will seek me diligently, But I will no
longer be."
