shown tremendous interest in WiMAX - Some are merely watching the trend, but others
are definitely involved - There is a lot of hype, but major participants
will deploy in 2005 - WiMAX is no longer a niche broadband wireless
access technology for the brave, but a primetime
contender that can challenge landline and other
wireless technologies - The WiMAX Forum is attracting new members,
including service providers, component vendors
and turnkey consultants. - The hype is about 802.16e (mobile WiMAX) but,
over the next few years, the real money will come
